Dog Abuser in Ashford, Alabama Forces Starving Dog to Eat the Skin from a Dead Dogs Head.

There are the two key things to note here: One is the conditions of the dogs – one dead and the other forced to eat the dead one.

The other is that someone had to report it in order for action to be taken and the one dog to be saved. A great example of the need of people to be proactive in these types of situations. If you see abuse, report it – preferably to a no kill shelter, but if not, to animal control and the police. If someone hadn’t have intervened, the other dog would have died a horribly painful death to.

I guess another thing to note is how easy she is getting off. Absolutely no justice here.

“Out of extreme hunger, the surviving dog appears to have eaten the skin and flesh from the deceased dog’s head.

The surviving dog was found after someone reported the alleged abuse to authorities. The two dogs were found in the woman’s fenced-in backyard on Choice Adams Road.”

An Ashford woman is out of jail on bond for a charge of animal cruelty and her emaciated dog is recovering at the Dothan Animal Shelter.

Both are waiting for a judge’s decision.

Pamela Arsenault, 32, posted her $1,000 bond after being arrested Wednesday and charged in connection with the starvation death of one of her two German shepherds, according to Houston County Sheriff Lamar Glover.

Arsenault has been charged with one count of animal cruelty, which is a Class B misdemeanor punishable by up to six months in prison and as much as a $1,000 fine.

Out of extreme hunger, the surviving dog appears to have eaten the skin and flesh from the deceased dog’s head.

The surviving dog was found after someone reported the alleged abuse to authorities. The two dogs were found in the woman’s fenced-in backyard on Choice Adams Road.

A judge will decide what happens to the living dog, the ribs of which could be seen even through his thick fur.

It is not believed that the other dog had been dead long.
